PAXAL
credits
PAXAL stands on a small set of carefully-chosen libraries and three real-world captures. Everything below is either self-authored or under a license that allows the use you see on the live demo. If something looks misattributed, email hpj675@gmail.com and we'll fix it.
CAPTURED WORLDS
ROOM
self-capturedInterior Gaussian-splat scan, in-house. 3-rung LOD ladder, walls collidable via splat-transform-derived trimesh.
LUDLOW SQUARE
CC BY 4.0Open-source community capture; spawn-pos calibrated in-house. Original capture remains attributable to its uploader; redistribution of this scene under the same license.
LA NIGHT / LA NIGHT AERIAL
CC BY 4.0Nighttime urban capture, community-sourced. Drivable + aerial-flight variants share the same point cloud — flight uses a flying camera, no chassis physics.
ENGINE + RUNTIME
WebGPU renderer + Gaussian-splat raster. 2.x branch.
CLI used by the build pipeline to derive .compressed.ply LOD rungs + .collision.glb watertight meshes.
Vehicle physics, chassis collisions, raycast wheels. WASM build.
App-Router + static export. The whole product is one folder under out/.
HUD chrome + marketing surfaces. The canvas itself is not React-managed.
State machine for the title → loading → playing → paused spine.
Design-token consumer + utility class generator.
Anonymous telemetry. Opt-out path lives under Settings → Privacy → /privacy.
TYPEFACE
Self-hosted from public/fonts/. Bold + Regular weights; used everywhere except the wordmark headline.
AUDIO
Synth audio path
self-composedEngine, tyre roll, skid, thud, gear shift, reverse beeper, UI stings, ambient bed, procedural music — all synthesised at runtime from oscillators / noise / convolution. No external samples shipped today.
Sampled paths (future)
TBDWhen CC0 / licensed samples drop into public/audio/, the sampled-engine + impact picker crossfade in automatically. Asset selection will be added to this page on landing.
WORDMARK + BRAND
The PAXAL wordmark, palette, OG card and favicon are original. All brand assets remain © PAXAL; ask via the contact email above before using them in promotional or commercial work.
